Overview: Most associations feel happy about the accomplishment of strategic planning process. But, like every other process, this too comes with its share of problems. The problems result from the crisis that hampers strategic planning process. Hence, it is essential for associations to identify the problem areas and work towards achievement of goals. There are various hurdles involved in strategic planning process, which include false sense of security, lack of support from higher authority, and leadership void. The paper examines ways to devise strategic plan for associations.
