Overview: The Sarbanes-Oxley Act has ushered in transparency in the operations of modern-day organizations. Most companies are complying with the regulations of the Act. The Act states that all organizations, regardless of their size, must submit a financial report depicting the expenses incurred by firms. The Act also states that the outside auditors should measure the financial status of companies. The process will not only lessen the chances of fraud but will also induce transparency in work. The paper examines the implications of the Act on various companies.
