Overview: Sales negotiation skills are among the most important ideals for any businessperson. At the same time, negotiating should be honest and fair to everyone involved to preserve good working relations. Don't be threatening, especially if you want to keep the relationship. Think about what the other party is asking for and if you can do it without compromising your own position. It's not necessary or even advisable to do the right thing just for the sake of doing it, especially when it comes to sales negotiation skills. However, it is important to try to be as ethical as possible in your deals.
