Overview: Business Continuity Planning (BCP) involves formulating a comprehensive action-plan that enables an organization to carry on with its routine day-to-day operations in the face of unforeseen situations and crisis. The BCP is done after ascertaining a number of factors that include relationships with business partners, technology nuances to business, infrastructure, and human resources support. Identification of risks to business and strategizing for their mitigation forms an important part of BCP. The paper examines issues involved in BCP.
