Overview: Part of the decision as to whether to follow up after your job interview depends on how the interview went. It is hoped that before leaving the interview, you asked when a decision would be made, giving you a timeframe to work from. Also, you need to consider whether you actually want the job. Did the interview make it sound like this was the one for you? Did it go well? Did you have a sense that you had a chance? If this is a job you care about, and you weren't given any indication that you wouldn't be given due consideration for the position, then it's important to do a follow up.
