Overview: Organizational and corporate culture consists of the following components; culture where there are shared actions, values, and beliefs that have developed within the organization, corporate, or firm. These components guide the members within the groups. A firm is a group of people who are grouped together for economic gain. A firm's culture is very important! A firm's culture will dictate whether or not the firm is economically successful. The employees of a firm need to feel good about the firm's policies, rules, regulations and ethics. If an employee feels she/he or a co-worker has been mistreated, that can cause tension which can lower production.
