Overview: Decision-making is the process of identifying alternative courses of action to a given problem and choosing the most suitable alternative from amongst them. Managers in an organization are involved in decision-making on a wide variety of issues. The ‘product-product’ decision appears in an organization producing multiple products from a given set of resources. It involves making decision regarding optimal utilization of resources towards operationalizing the production process. The paper examines this issue.
