Overview: Innovation is the process of applying creative ideas to problems and coming up with solutions. In the organizational context, innovation assumes lot of significance as an effective tool to gain sustainable competitive advantage. An entrepreneur is an individual who has a definitive action-plan and strategy to take a business venture to fruition. By this definition, an entrepreneur has lot of innovative ideas. The paper examines dynamics of innovation in organizations and, in this context, looks at corporate entrepreneurship.
