Overview: The sales cycle consists of the time that elapses between the customer initiating the buying process, and the point at which a decision is made on which product to buy. The customer is, primarily, interested in satisfying a need and buying the product. The process through which the customers go to address their purchasing needs is known as their buying cycle. In any sales process, it is imperative to understand the difference between the selling cycle and the buying cycle. The paper examines the same and discusses the different steps in the buying cycle.
