Overview: Motivation is the psychological feature that arouses an individual to behave in a certain manner for accomplishing certain pre-defined goals. Individuals need high motivation level to excel in their work. Motivation plays an important role in the goal setting process. There are, however, some misconceptions prevalent about motivation.
