Overview: Extranet is the electronic network that connects an organization with its suppliers and customers. In other words, an Extranet is the extension of the Intranet over the Internet. The Extranet is an effective tool to improve customer relationships. The Extranet also facilitates in developing strategic elements leading to a sustainable competitive advantage for the organization.
