Overview: Groups are formed when two or more people come together and work in cohesion towards attainment of common goals and objectives. A number of psychological activities are observed within the group framework. They include deindividuation, social loafing, and social compensation. Individual group members conduct themselves as per pre-defined social norms, roles, and status. The paper examines the aforesaid psychological activities and discusses group dynamics in organizations.
