Overview: A team is a collection of individuals with complimentary skills who work together for the attainment of common goals and objectives. The different members of a team are inter-dependent on each other towards accomplishment of the task at hand. A dyad is the combination of two people working together towards a common objective. Communication plays a critical role in both teams and dyads. The paper examines basic principles of communication and explores its role in teams and dyads.
