Overview: A group is a collection of individuals who work towards attainment of a common goal. The group becomes a team when the individual members develop complimentary skills and develop interdependency towards attainment of the common goal. All teams are groups but the converse is not always true. The paper examines the relationship between groups and teams and discusses the dynamics of the same.
