Overview: An organization has to convey the message regarding its products to the target audience. This is necessary in order to raise awareness about the product per se and its attributes. Herein comes in the need for communication. The organization uses different communication channels for conveying its message. Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) is the set of communication channels that the organization uses to send its message across to the consumers. IMC includes advertising, sales promotion, and public relations. The Internet is a versatile tool to the extent that it can be used for different communication channels in the IMC. The paper examines the different avenues wherein the Internet is used for marketing communication.
