Overview: The corporate code of ethics consists of a set of moral principles and values that govern the behavior of the organization with respect to what is right and what is wrong. It provides a framework for the operationalization of ethical conduct in business practices. The corporate code of ethics differs from organization to organization. It depends upon several factors, which include type of business, the kind of liability involved in the same and the customer attributes. The paper examines ethics and discusses the same in the context of the aforesaid factors.
