Overview: Environmental ethics and business have a close relationship. Ethics consists of moral guidelines as to what is right and what is wrong for the organization. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) spells out an organization’s commitment towards society and is a measure of the organization’s social responsiveness. The CSR principles must be institutionalized in the organization towards making the organization truly society centric. The paper examines different CSR theories.
