Overview: Quality is an important aspect in an organization. The consumers define the same. Different approaches are employed for doing quality control in the organization. Performance Measurement (PM) is necessary to lead the organization in a certain direction and for continuous improvement of systems and processes. PM also helps in reviewing quality. Balanced Scorecard (BSC) is one of the methods of doing PM in the organization. A performance information management is a comprehensive framework, which combines the tenets of BSC and other PM methods towards quality management. The paper discusses the tools and processes involved in the same.
