Overview: This article discusses SWOT analysis, which plays a very crucial role in evaluating the organization. The goals of a SWOT analysis are to identify strategies that fit a firm’s resources, capabilities to its external environment and to generate alternatives that apply a company’s strengths to exploit opportunities and counter threats. It is never about the past, but always about the present or future. This is in the form of matrix and provides various guidelines to do the analysis.
