Overview: This paper includes the background and implications of Foreign Sales Corporation (FSC). It explains how enacted FSC was enacted and what were the clauses of the first and second round of FSC litigation. At time FSC was enacted it allowed partial tax exemption for the income of a foreign corporate subsidiary derived from handling US export sales. Later changes were implemented with updated litigation and exclusion of the Extraterritorial Income (ETI) act were conditioned.
