Overview: On May 31, “Ask Jeeves” announced a broad alliance with an eclectic group of ASPs, call center companies and e-business outsourcers aimed at dramatically expanding the reach of its corporate products. Together, these companies plan to put a more human face on automated online customer support systems. By partnering with a variety of ASPs, e-business and old-school call center companies, Ask Jeeves hope to extend their reach to thousands of new corporate customers – particularly Fortune 1000 companies eager to outsource online customer support services.
