Overview: The article defines moral advantage. Everyone knows a modicum of ethics is called for in any business--cannot cheat the customers forever and get away with it. The article also suggests the common way of thinking about morality in business the way it goes. Topics like the three faces of morality; restricting damaging behavior; the morality pyramid are also explained in detail. The article also suggests that the people who have gained enduring success in their business and community pay attention to the inner voice that provides their moral compass, and they learn to guide their conduct according to the virtues and principles that flow from their moral identities. To lead the company by that kind of example it is essential for establishing a culture of doing well by doing right--and gaining the moral advantage.
