Overview: It has been seen that turnover is not always bad. There is an optimal “mix” of experience for this. The firm should lay off for young workers with little investment and also older workers where high productivity is in the past. However, there are some issues relating to this. Some of these include: management wants to reduce the size of workforce, industry is booming: other firms raid you, you raid others. These issues need to be resolved. Thus, no conclusion have been found regarding turnover, its still a debatable issue.
