Overview: The journalist's job is to report both sides and for the most part the media tries to do that as best they can. But quite often, one side could effectively present its point of view but the other, even though it had a legitimate point of view to present too, couldn't do so effectively, either because they didn't know how, or they were intimidated at the thought of dealing with the media, or simply didn't understand how important it was.
