Overview: If one have not reviewed and modified occupancy standards in the last year, they may be in violation of the fair housing laws. But a question which arises is that what do occupancy standards have to do with fair housing laws? Occupancy standards may be a violation of the fair housing laws if they unfairly limit the housing options because of familial status.
