Overview: On February 11, 2003, the en banc Superior Court of Pennsylvania decided Trach v. Fellin. The court re-examined its application of the Frye standard used for determining whether expert scientific evidence will be admitted at trial. The Frye standard provides that expert testimony is admissible where it is generally accepted within the relevant scientific community.
