Overview: Great copywriting is about knowing who the prospect is, what they need, what they really want, and how the product will give it to them. It provides tips for copy writing as if any piece of written material the advertisement should have a title, a beginning, middle, and an end. It needs to be as punchy and attention grabbing as the headline. It needs to be powerful enough to make the reader want to read on. Here are some specific tips that help to do that: 1) Know the objectives, 2) Remember advertising is salesmanship in print and remember that the more they tell, more the sell, 3) Always ensure that promotional efforts are measurable to know exactly how much "bang" one is getting for the buck, 4) Remember, specifics sell.
