Overview: A Marketing Executive needs to use two kinds of Personal Marketing to effectively build Personal Brand: image marketing, and direct marketing. Image marketing is about the slow crafting of an image in the marketplace; it’s not about getting immediate results and sales. Direct marketing, also called "direct response," is all about producing calls, driving customer traffic, and getting immediate revenue in the door. Image marketing is about feel and impression. Direct marketing says "Call Now!" Personal Marketing is the grunt work one have perform to generate business off the Personal Brand. But Personal Marketing is hardly busy work: done right, it’s a perfect fusion of image marketing and direct marketing. Personal Marketing, combines image marketing and direct marketing. People frequently see in TV advertising: a wild, dramatic or edgy ad plays without a hint of a sales pitch, and at the very end a phone number dissolves on the screen, with no voice-over or accompanying visual, combining image and direct marketing for memorable Personal Marketing builds Personal Brand.
