Overview: The article talks about the flexible work programs. It explains the need of the flexible working timing for the families where parents are working and discusses the policy on flexi- timing, how the process of calculation is done by supervisor. Supervisors frequently make the mistake of cutting "secret side deals" with individual workers who request special arrangements for flexible hours, compressed workweeks, or telecommuting. Different experts views were given in article regarding flexible working hours which says that employees who request a flexible work arrangement are not asked to state their marital/family status or explain why they are making the request. They need only prove that they can meet their job requirements.
