Overview: It has been realized that public relations is considered a vital component for building brand value, maintaining brand vitality, and establishing brand credibility. The study, is basically a survey based on responses of more than 100 brand managers, providing new evidence that public relations is the most effective way to establish brand credibility. The major outcome was that the majority of brand managers believed that public relations, when compared to advertising, sales promotion and new media, is critical for establishing brand credibility. Brand managers also feel that public relations is the best way to garner third-party endorsement. The report also examines how brand managers are using the Internet, and how public relations works with an interactive marketing strategy. This article mainly emphasizes upon the outcome which are critical to the organisation.
