Overview: Among standards watchers, the buzz over the past several months has been about the much-anticipated ISO 9000 revisions process, expected to culminate in the fourth quarter of 2000. But due to an unexpected turn at the ISO Technical Management Board (TMB), the ISO 14000 revisions process has been thrown into the mix, creating pressure on TC 207 to kick-start its process earlier than expected so that the greatest degree of compatibility between the two series can be achieved.
