Overview: This white paper describes, at a high level, some of the many areas to address during the creation of a Disaster Recovery (DR) Plan. It is not all-inclusive, but is intended to provide insight into the overall process. The first step in planning to recover from a disaster is to define what types of disaster are to be planned for. With the increasing likelihood of future terrorism in the United States and abroad, we believe it is prudent for organizations to prepare for the worst. The more prepared the company, the faster the recovery of the business, which effectively contributes to a more robust and resilient economy.
