Overview: Many of the clauses from ISO 9001:1994 are incorporated into ISO 9001:2000's section 7, Product realization. This article groups the requirements from the 1994 version's clauses. It also addresses process planning and customer communication and is the only section of the standard that allows exclusions to the requirements. The summaries of the other ISO 9001:1994 clauses that have also been incorporated into this section.
