Overview: The article tries to introduce the Balanced scorecard as a successful strategic control methodology which uses a multi-dimensional framework for describing, implementing and managing strategy throughout an organization. It adds value by providing concise, relevant and balanced information. Balance scorecard enables an organization to clarify its vision. Again it structures an organization’s focus on cause and effect relationships, between four perspectives- customer, financial, internal business process and finally learning and growth.
