Overview: Saturday night might be all right for fighting (so the song goes), but not the workplace. Connie Gray found out the hard way when she was fired from her job at Toshiba America Consumer Products, Inc. (Toshiba) for assaulting a co-worker. However, Gray sued Toshiba for gender discrimination, claiming that men who had engaged in workplace fighting had only received suspensions, and didn’t lose their jobs.
