Overview: Layoff is a word that every employee dreads. But for foreign workers living in the U.S. on an H-1B visa, it is very difficult for them to do work. They have to pack up their belongings and return to their homelands. The visas are issued for three to six years and are contingents upon the holders keeping the jobs they were brought into the county to fill. The following case study tells about the H1B Visas problem and their solution.
