Overview: So why is America's Auto industry dying? What could make a company like GM file for bankruptcy or cause a corporation like Ford to make drastic job cuts...quite simply it is a like of innovation. In the early days of cars manufactures like Cadillac led the world in new technology and interesting designs. Instead of sticking with what was safe these now commercial behemoths used brain power to come up with new ways of making technology work for them. Times have changed though, and as you look around the automotive landscape one begins to realize that America is falling behind in the game.
