Overview: What is up with the internet? What about it makes it so appealing to people of old age, education level, etc&? Many people of all ages, races, education levels, and other such statuses are taking classes online. Some of these classes are free, some are meant to give you a direct leg up in your career and still further ones can help you pursue a degree program! Many state systems (not so much in the south as in the Midwest but it doesn't matter, non-resident students are always as welcome to apply) including the Iowa, Connecticut, and the New York system have online classes that can count towards a degree.
