Overview: Perception is key in the decision making process as a manager, because you must fully understand the decision you must make along with all of the facts and information involved in the situation you must resolve. If you have bad perception of the situation and do not consider all of the facts that are involved such as external factors that you or anyone else have no control over you may make the wrong decision, in turn causing negative consequences for the organization and yourself. In order to have good perception of any given situation you must analyze all of the pertinent information involved in a timely manner, without making a hasty decision.
