Overview: Chronic procrastination can be a sign of a deeper problem. It may be that someone is suffering from stress, anxiety, lack of confidence or feelings of worthlessness. If this is the case it must be a priority to rebuild that person's confidence and make them feel needed and useful. People suffering from depression and activity disorders can be prone to procrastination as many are perfectionists. So on a more serious level it can become quite a debilitating condition. If you are suffering badly from stress you can end up putting everything off as the thought of failing is just too awful. This paper explains how to deal with a procrastinating partner.
