Overview: Accurate data matching is a fundamental requirement for many data processing applications. It's an obvious requirement for data cleansing: recognizing whether two or more records represent the same person, product, company, or other data entity is an essential step to eliminating duplicates. It's also a key requirement for data integration: i.e. recognizing if records in two or more different databases are describing the same entity; as well as in master data management, i.e., linking new transactions to master records.
Netrics' Decision Engine uses an exclusive system that models human decision-making. It "learns" by automatically tracking the patterns of example decisions provided by your own business experts, and creates a computer model that accurately predicts them. Once "trained", the Decision Engine's model reliably makes the same decisions as your own experts, but at computer speeds, and without ever losing concentration.
