Overview: Implementing an e-business solution is not the same as implementing a legacy system. There are a lot of differences. To improve the success rate of your e-business projects, you must gain an appreciation for the differences between e-business project management and traditional Information Technology (IT) project management. You must also understand the responsibilities and skills of the e-business project manager. This information will help to prepare mentally and skill-wise for dealing with the issues that may crop up on an e-project.
