Overview: The first part of this paper explored ways to keep a superior project staff with a focus on inter-team dynamics. This second and final part will focus on external dynamics such as corporate culture, politics and human resource management in matrixed and dotted-lined organizations. One of the biggest underlying reasons for losing talent is stress in the workplace, and although the author has highlighted ways to reduce stress throughout this paper, he places particular importance on what can happen to the talent if they are caught up in negative politics and do not have the support.
