Overview: A bright idea and a taste for success are key ingredients in Lindsay Frucci's home-based business success. After many trial batches, Lindsay developed a brownie mix she believed tasted great, was fat-free, and offered the market potential to make a great business. Lindsay learned about SCORE through a magazine article and decided to ask for SCORE business counseling. The business began with personal capital. To help fuel expansion, Lindsay needed additional resources. She worked with SCORE on her business plan and went to meet with local banks.
