Overview: A mile isn't always worth as much as you think. And factors such as whether you are at the elite level or not make a difference in how much each mile is worth. To be completely honest, cut back on the number of frequent-flier miles you collect. Sometimes there's no point of accumulating miles. When you collect miles, do it in a measured, strategic way - not thoughtlessly hoarding points for their own sake.
