Overview: Methods for enterprise modelling usually offer limited support for the description of logistical aspects. The paper at hand presents a concept for modelling supply chains in the context of enterprise modelling. This concept, called transportation channel, is part of a resource modelling language which complements a business process modelling language. Both languages are part of a method for multi-perspective enterprise modelling. A short overview on enterprise modelling as well as business process modelling will be given in the paper. The basic conceptualisation of the resource modelling language is presented in more detail. The notion of transportation channels is motivated by some examples and defined by a meta-model.
