Overview: In this paper, the author analyses a case study, introduction of Information Technology in a newspaper firm, in the light of context. The complexity of information streams inside and outside of the firm gives a complex aspect to the change introduced in this firm. He identifies several types of contexts at different granularities with relationships based on the transformation from the contextual knowledge into the proceduralized context. A finding of this study is that making context explicit could improve in a consequential way the interaction among the members of the firm.
