Overview: Attaining and maintaining a sustainable competitive advantage is knowledge assets and as result, organizations need to assess and understand Knowledge Management (KM) best contributes to organizational performance. To help organizations in quest of KM benefits, various KM frameworks have been proposed. This paper explains about one such framework which is the Knowledge Value Chain (KVC) developed and based on Porter's value chain approach.
