Overview: What is organizational effectiveness? Some arts organizations base their evaluation on the number of constituents served. Others define it as achieving a balanced budget at the end of the year. And yet others see the opening of a new building as proving their organization's effectiveness. This paper explains several ways to analyze the organizational position and will address several performance measures that will help him evaluate the double-bottom-line social impact that the organization has on its community and constituents.
