Overview: In order to have a new knowledge economy, business organisations using TeleCollaboration (TC) are now facing major challenges due to external pressures as well as the nature of the workplace. This give rises to the necessity of having additional insights and synthesis, through the development of a strategic, comprehensive, holistic and coordinated Knowledge Management Initiative (KMI). KMI, in the context of TC knowledge flow, involves an integrated work practice of knowledge creation, retention, transfer and utilization of people across a wide front. This paper explains the type's knowledge with their role and basis and the relationships between the strategic framework components from a structural viewpoint of KMI.
